12 Weeks 3 Days and Counting!

Wow! It has been 2 weeks already, and time for the 12 week photo. My flat stomach is gone and now has a slight roundness to it. I am excited to say that now my baby is the size of a plum! Right now the baby is 2 and a half inches long and weighs only a half an ounce. Ryan is excited that the baby has fingers and toes and the fingernails are starting to develop. I had a lot of fun last weekend going shopping with my mom for maternity clothes (even though it is hard trying them on right now when I don't really have a belly) We have our next doctor's appointment on Monday and I am really hoping to be able to hear the heartbeat. Stay tuned for the next letter!

Linstromberg Baby Week by Week

Ryan and I went to the 1st Doctor's appointment today! We were even able to do an ultrasound! The baby is only about an inch long, so still hard to see. Ryan is concerned from the picture that the baby's head is not connected to the body. I am sure it is just the angle we are looking at. We have been taking pictures of my belly every two weeks, and I think it is growing! So far the doctor says everything looks great!

Ultrasound at 10 weeks. Baby is only an inch long, but you can see the arms. Ryan also thinks it looks like the head is not attached.

Here We Go!

Well, I do not know much about this blogging stuff, but here we go! I figured it would be a good time to start a blog so family and friends can keep up on what is going on in my life. In case you have not heard...Ryan and I are expecting a baby. Baby Linstromberg is due to arrive on August 12th, so right now that makes me 10 weeks along. We are very excited to be expanding our family, and can't wait for all the new experiences to come!

A little bit of an update on the rest of our lives...I graduated from physical therapy school in August of 2007, and have been working as a PT in an outpatient rehab clinic for the past year and a half. Ryan continues to work in public accounting as an auditor, and is in his 5th year. We live in South Bend, IN and enjoy living down the street from my family. We are also blessed to be able to spend lots of time with Ryan's family, who live a little over an hour away.

I guess that is all I have to say for now. Stay tuned to read more Letters from the Linstromberg's!
