14 Weeks

So we are now at 14 and a half weeks...officially the second trimester! In the past two weeks the baby has grown from a plum, to a peach, to a lemon, and is now three and a half inches long. We were very excited that at our last Doctor's appointment we were able to hear the heartbeat!

Everyone keeps asking if we are going to find out if it is a boy or a girl...and the answer is no. At this point we plan on waiting and being surprised. However, you can always feel free to make a guess! I have started wearing maternity pants some days. I have found that they can be quite comfortable, and I absolutely love the pair that I have on in the picture. They are great because they just have elastic on the waist and not the big belly band. Everyone at work is jealous and says that they want stretchy pants too!

I thought it was crazy the other night when I got to thinking, that I know 17 people who are pregnant right now. That is a lot of hormones! And this number does not even count Ashley who gave birth to beautiful Audrey earlier this week. I think that I know 2 or 3 people that are due every month from now until August. So I am hoping and praying for lots of healthy babies!

Since it is Valentine's Day I will also mention that I am very excited about my brand new Vera Bradley diaper bag that my wonderful husband got me! I think it seems like a good gender neutral pattern, and I am sure that the baby will love it! I know I do....thanks Ryan!

  1. Congratulations on your exciting news! 17 pregnant women...wow. I guess that's our stage of life right now! Instead of going to 17 weddings this year, you'll have 17 showers to attend. :)
